Phorm aims to bring physical buttons to touchscreen devices, sort of. Phorm is an iPad mini case that includes a special film that acts as a screen protector. The back of the case contains a slide lever that when pulled, makes buttons appear over the screen keyboard. It is as if some magic tactile keyboard appears, then disappears when you don't need it. This has to be the craziest thing I've ever seen - in a good way!
The buttons don't click like a BlackBerry, but they do provide real tactile feedback for typing. Anyone who requires a physical keyboard can benefit from Phorm.
Form is currently only available only for iPad mini. It sells for $149 but if you pre-order it now, yo can get it for $99. The company will make a similar case for the iPhone 6 Plus, then move to the iPad Air. The Phorm case is expected to ship this summer.
