BlackBerry continues to develop its BB 10 operating system. According to a new report, BlackBerry will roll out the next version of their OS, 10.3.1, on Thursday, February 19, 2015. The new update will include some new features, the biggest of which will be a Siri-like virtual assistant.
BlackBerry was scheduled to release the update yesterday, but the company had some issues.

Notifications Profiles (similar to BeBuzz and Hub++ apps)
Internal & External Out of Office replies
Ability to specify which contacts folders within Exchange to sync
More robust Calendar reminder dialogs
Task Recurrence
Workspace Camera
Ability to mark a Picture or Video as “hidden”
Map View of Pictures (requires Geo-tagging of photos)
Customizable Hotkeys from Home Screen (requires physical keypad)
Battery Saving Mode
Ability to grant/deny permission for applications to continue running while minimized
BlackBerry was scheduled to release the update yesterday, but the company had some issues.
Apparently, the rollout was supposed to have happened yesterday. However, BlackBerry had issues with the update accidentally wiping the entire device. Hopefully, BlackBerry has solved the issue and we can expect the update to hit user’s devices by the 19th.
