BlackBerry is set to release its earnings tomorrow and it could be a low point for John Chen and crew. At least one analyst believes BlackBerry is heading downward and he issued an investors note today. JP Morgan analyst Rod Hall says the company will show another fall in quarterly earnings.
It appears BlackBerry expected this low point as BlackBerry CFO James Yersh said recently he expected revenue would hit a low point during the fiscal fourth quarter, but go up from there.
The world awaits to see if BlackBerry can make some revenue from hardware sales to buy them enough time to pivot towards being a software and services company. No matter what happens tomorrow, it's full steam ahead for BlackBerry in the race to sustainability. Can they pull it off?

In an investors note released Thursday, Hall said he expects that BlackBerry finished its fiscal fourth quarter with sales of $791 million. Such a figure would be down 19 percent from the same quarter a year ago and down 0.2 percent from its third quarter.
