Could the BlackBerry Passport have a bandage issue of its own? According to Softpedia, the new flagship BlackBerry has an issue that causes the screen to come apart from the phone. It has happened on several of their on Passports, and happens to the bottom right corner of the display in every case. This cannot be a coincidence.
Softpedia says there are two options to fix the display. You can send it back to BlackBerry to get a new device, or try to clue the display back yourself. Obviously, the best option is to ask BlackBerry for a new device. Trying to glue the display yourself is cumbersome, and will probably end up looking like a hack. If you don't mind that however, you can save yourself some time by gluing the device yourself.
Basically, the display of the phone comes off for no clear reason, and in absolutely all cases, it’s the right bottom corner that appears to be experiencing this behavior.
As weird as it might sound, the screen lift issue is not critical. Okay, so your screen comes off, but absolutely all Passports suffering from this problem work perfectly fine. No other issue, only that the screen starts lifting all of a sudden.
